Utilizing knowledge transmitted by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, filmmaker Seán Doran edited an extremely high-resolution timelapse that unveils a rippling, rugged crater on the Purple Planet’s dusty floor. Doran stitched collectively pictures captured by the spacecraft’s HiRISE digital camera, creating a brief video that seems to set the imprinted, extraterrestrial panorama in movement.
