A choice of current work from artist Danny Ferrell’s (beforehand featured right here) current solo exhibition, “Fortress within the Sky,” at Miles McEnery Gallery in New York. That includes likenesses of his associates and friends, Ferrell’s colourful portraits are representations of “intimate daydreams.” He makes use of a heat, saturated shade palette to speak the sensitivity and energy of his muses, embodying their essences in vibrant element.
Whereas being a homosexual man performs its half tremendously in Ferrell’s work, in the end, he explains: “These are my associates and those who I’ve an emotional resonance with.
