In his ongoing Jurassic Nature collection, Japanese artist Raku Inoue layers sprigs of kiwi vines, white spruce, and boxelder maple into miniature sculptural dinosaurs. The ribbed, veiny textures of the leaves mimic the reptilian pores and skin of a number of the most recognizable characters from the 1993 traditional. Minimal in kind and plush in development, the creatures embrace a dandelion-headed brontosaurus, a stegosaurus with spiky raspberry leaves defining its again, and a velociraptor laced with forget-me-nots.
Inoue is including a number of extra dinosaurs to the collection, so regulate his Instagram for updates. You can too discover prints of quite a lot of his botanical creatures in his store. (through Lustik)
