by Blair Wilson
March 2, 2022

Lengthy reside King Von.
Forward of his posthumous album, the late rapper’s property has launched his new single “Struggle.” On the emotionally-raw monitor, produced by Chopsquad DJ, Von shares a gripping account of his life as a young person in O-Block.
“‘Member there was nights I couldn’t even sleep / Struggle outdoors, ni**as couldn’t even eat,” raps the Chicago MC. “I used to be 16 with a Carbon 15 / Motherfu**ers gotta die and it ain’t gon’ be me.”
“Struggle” follows his 21 Savage collaboration “Don’t Play That,” that are each set to look on Von’s 19-track album, What It Means to Be King, due Friday.
Von’s debut album Welcome to O’Block was launched in October 2020, simply days earlier than he was shot and killed in Atlanta at age 26.
