Monica Barbaro to Play Joan Baez in New Bob Dylan Film A Full Unknown
Prime Gun: Maverick actress Monica Barbaro is in ultimate talks to painting Joan Baez in a forthcoming Bob Dylan biopic, The Hollywood Reporter studies and Searchlight Footage representatives confirmed to Pitchfork. The movie, directed and co-written by James Mangold, will star Timothée Chalamet as Dylan.
Earlier this month, Mangold mentioned that Chalamet will do his personal singing for the film, which is about to start manufacturing in New York this summer season. At the moment titled A Full Unknown, the movie will focus on Dylan’s groundbreaking electrical set on the Newport Folks Pageant in 1965.
James Mangold is co-producing the Searchlight Footage movie and he’s co-writing it with Jay Cocks. Bob Dylan is among the many movie’s government producers, in keeping with The Hollywood Reporter.
