“Kiss from a Rose”

Seal is a multi-Grammy-winning singer and songwriter from England. His tune “Kiss from a Rose” was first launched in 1994, on his second album. It was an enormous hit, thanks partially to being featured within the film Batman Endlessly. It landed on the highest ten charts in a number of nations, and ultimately went quadruple platinum within the US. On the 1996 Grammys, it received Music of the Yr, Report of the Yr, and Greatest Male Pop Vocal Efficiency.

“Kiss from a Rose” changing into a success was not a foregone conclusion, although. Seal virtually didn’t document it. And when it was first launched, it didn’t make a lot of a splash. However for this episode, Seal and his longtime collaborator, producer Trevor Horn, advised me the story of what it took to carry “Kiss from a Rose” to life.
