Lengthy-legged creatures don otherwordly masks in sculptures by Bali-based artist Spencer Hansen, whose work explores identification and connection by means of a solid of uncanny characters. Utilizing primarily pure, discovered, and recycled supplies like wooden, steel, bone, plant fibers, and ceramic, he attracts inspiration from surrounding setting and frequent travels. Initially from Idaho, he relocated to Bali the place he constructed a workshop that homes studios and live-work area for a workforce of expert artisans who assist to deliver the items to life.

Alongside enterprise associate Shayne Maratea, with whom he based impartial clothes and artwork firm BLAMO, Hansen usually collaborates with artists and photographers to merge sculpture and efficiency.
