The Jewish Museum Presents a Dialogue With Feminist Artist Martha Edelheit

At the side of the present New York: 1962–1964 exhibition, the Jewish Museum will current an in-person dialog between artist Martha Edelheit and Affiliate Curator Rebecca Shaykin.
Edelheit (b. 1931 in New York Metropolis, now based mostly in Sweden) is a groundbreaking feminist artist whose decades-long profession has resulted in a deeply probing investigation into the topic of the feminine physique, from early works exploring the expressive energy of tattoos to erotic watercolors and vivid depictions of girls at varied levels of their lives.
