“The Silent Passing of Issues” by Photographer Freya Najade

Based mostly between London and Germany, photographer Freya Najade explores the Marshes of East London in her ongoing collection, “The Silent Passing of Issues.” Loved by wildlife and folks alike, the massive swathes of greenery exist as an unlikely reprieve from the hustle of metropolis life. Najade was drawn to their pure magnificence, shining by way of regardless of the neglect and injury inflicted by their human guests. She combed the panorama by way of all seasons and climate, discovering sudden magnificence and stunning encounters with strangers.
“These pictures are an ode to this little a part of the world and to my favorite a part of town, the marshes in East London, a jewel amid a metropolis,” Najade explains. “I observe the River Lea up and down the stream, criss-crossing the marshes, whereas I research the start, ending and renewal of issues — the fixed cycle of life — and our relationship to nature.”
