The band Franz Ferdinand shaped in 2002, in Glasgow, Scotland. They’ve gained the Mercury Prize and two BRIT Awards, and have 5 Grammy nominations, and so they’ve bought hundreds of thousands of albums. Certainly one of their first singles is that this track, “Take Me Out,” and it’s additionally their largest hit. On this episode, singer and guitarist Alex Kapranos tells the story of how he and his bandmates made the track, from the unique house demo to the ultimate studio recording.
