​​Watch Indigenous Cinema at the Native New York Film Festival

The Smithsonian’s Nationwide Museum of the American Indian presents the Native New York Movie Competition in New York Metropolis, Could 5–7. Along with the Native New York exhibition, the pageant spotlights filmmakers, new movies, fan favorites, and filmmaker discussions reflecting on what makes New York a Native place.

All screenings are free; view the total schedule at americanindian.si.edu.

The  Native New York Movie Competition is a part of the museum’s Native Cinema Showcase. Particular help was supplied by the New York State Council on the Arts with the help of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature.

Journey down reminiscence lane with this particular assortment of traditional brief movies starting from the witty to the thrilling that commemorate New York.
